The European karting championship had run in Genk for the first round of the Kz and KZ2 categories, flanked by younger riders of KF and the youngest of the Academy Trophy. The Belgian date has crowned two Italians: Marco Ardigò for the KZ and Andrea Dale in KZ2. The KF has gone instead to Nielsen that reinforces the primacy in the standings.
